The arena lights black out and some stage strobe lights flash red and green.

As the sound of a gun being loaded leads into the opening drums and guitar , the arena lights return, flashing slowly red as the titantron shows a small red poker chip with the 'Spade' symbol within it move across the screen, then as it disappears a larger gun barrel appears from the right and moves with a silhouette of The Ace in it into the centre, the silhouette faces the camera draws a gun and fires. The bullet heads towards the screen before shattering a Jack of Hearts. The Ace appears on stage and huge flame pyro explodes either side of the ramp bathing the arena in a static red light as the lyrics to 'Hallowed Be My Name' by Hammerfall begin. Cards begin to fall from the rafters after the pyro explosions as the titantron shows The Ace delivering Ace-Plants to Phillip Burns and Showtyme. The Ace walks down the ramp through the shower of falling cards. The cards stop falling as The Ace confidently struts over to the steel steps before he climbs them and steps through the ropes. He walks over to the adjacent turnbuckle, climbing the second rope. He raises both arms in the air. The Ace then climbs down and he walks to the middle of the ring as the song fades, the lights return to normal...
Eric Hardy: Here's the first wrestler in our opening bout, The Ace.
Kelly Knite: Looks like he's had a hair cut. Short hair suits him.
Eric Hardy: He still looks butt ugly.
Kelly Knite: You're just jealous, because he's got the looks, the body, and the attractive wife.
Eric Hardy: Whatever...
As the fans wait in anticipation, "Pts. of Athrty." hits over the PA and the crowd rise to their feet, awaiting the arrival of Doc. The lights then turn to darkness, and soon two bright blue strobe lighting bolts shine on the top of the ramp. They cross over in a huge "X" shape, like the St. Andrews flag of Scotland, and as Doc walks out and stands under the "X", the lights turn back on. A spotlight shines on the nCw superstar as he jogs on the spot, as the lyrics of "Pts. of Athrty." begin to hit.
"Forfiet the game, Before somebody else Takes you out of the frame, Puts your name to shame, Cover up your face, You can't run the race, The pace is too fast, You just wont last..."
Doc then begins to walk down the ramp, slowly looking out at the fans, before posing, dropping to his knees and lifting his arms in the air. Pyros explode in the background on cue as he does so. Doc then continues down to the ring. As he reaches it he climbs the steps and walks along the apron. Doc grabs the top rope, and drops his feet off the apron, but holds on to the rope and skins the cat over the top rope and into the ring. Doc spins round before climbing each turnbuckle to taunt to the crowd, and after he has done so he leans to one side in a taunt, flexing his muscles. He then stands in the middle of the ring, where he does some last minute stretches and makes sure his wrists are taped up properly.
Eric Hardy: The doctor is in the house! I hope The Ace is ready for some surgery!
Kelly Knite: What on Earth does that mean? It doesn't make any sense...
Eric Hardy: I thought it would sound cool, until I actually said it... Oh, here we go!!
Eric's reason for saying this is because The Ace didn't want to wait for the referee to start the match. As Doc was checking his wrist tape, The Ace bum rushed him with a shoulder badge, lifting Doc off his feet and slamming him back first into the corner of the ring. The referee calls for the bell to start the match, seeing as The Ace has already got things underway. The Ace keeps Doc in the corner, shoulder bardging him for a second, then a third time. Doc falls to a seated position, leaning against the bottom turnbuckle. The Ace, satified with the start of the match, backs away and taunts the already booing crowd while keeping his eyes firmly set on Doc.
Eric Hardy: The Ace is happy with the way this match has started, but the crowd are letting him know they aren't happy at all.
Kelly Knite: They're just annoyed that their boy is getting his butt kicked.
The Ace walks forward to the corner where Doc is still seated. Ace grabs a handful of Doc's hair, and lifts him up to his feet by it. Doc suddenly comes to life. He spins Ace around into the corner of the ring and starts blasting him with closed fists. The crowd reacts to this with cheers. Doc drives a knee into Ace's mid-section, winding him. Doc then whips Ace into the opposite corner, creating space to get some faster offense going. Doc runs at Ace, but Ace reacts by bursting out of the corner with a Jumping Knee right into Doc's face. Doc falls to his back and Ace makes the cover for 1... 2... Kickout by Doc.
Eric Hardy: Easy kick out by Doc. The Ace is just trying to humiliate him, attempting a cover off of such a weak move.
Ace doesn't relent, quickly grabbing Doc by the left arm and wrenching at it with an Arm Lock on the mat. Doc gets to his knees then back to his feet in no time, but Ace follows him and keeps the Arm Lock sinched in. Ace powers Doc into the corner, slamming Doc's left arm on the top turnbuckle. The referee seperates the two men, but Ace slips a boot past the referee and into Doc's gut. Ace grabs the ropes for leverage, as he rains in four more gut kicks, forcing Doc back down to a seated position again. The referee is counting The Ace while this is all going on. As the referee reaches four, Ace stops with the boots and acknowledges the referees count. The referee has a word with Ace, which goes in one ear and out the other. Ace turns back to Doc, but is taken off his feet with a huge clothesline. Doc looks fired up now, and ready to mount some offense. As Ace stands, Doc takes out his right knee with a low shoulder tackle. Ace falls to his back, and Doc quickly stands up. He pushes himself in the air using the ropes for extra height, and brings a big stomp down on the same knee of Ace that he just tackled. Doc now starts kicking and stomping at Ace's knee ferociously. Ace rolls away while clutching his knee. Doc stalks Ace with every roll, watching exactly where his right leg is positioned at all times. Doc grabs Ace by the foot, lifting his leg up to a vertical position. As Doc bends, Ace grabs him by the head and rolls him up for a pin 1... 2... 2.5... Doc escapes!
Eric Hardy: Doc's total focus on The Ace's leg nearly came back to haunt him.
Kelly Knite: The Ace may be hurting, but he's still dangerous. He just showed that.
Doc is up before Ace. Doc goes for a dropkick, but Ace is able to side step it, falling to the mat with Doc because of his knee still hurting. The Ace drags himself upright using the ropes. As Doc stands, slightly dazed from his missed dropkick, Ace runs at him with a slight hobble and hits a clothesline. Doc falls, but is quick to his feet again. Ace whips Doc to the ropes. As Doc comes back, Ace throws him over his head with a perfectly timed Back Body Drop. Doc lands with a thud, which gives Ace time to shake out his knee and make sure it's ok. Satisfied that nothing is badly damaged, Ace turns around to face Doc, who is struggling to get to his feet. Ace grabs Doc's arm and wrenches it around, then going for a Hook Kick. Doc manages to catch Ace's foot, then sweeps Ace's other leg from under him. Still holding Ace's leg, Doc falls to a knee and locks on a Doc Lock! Ace's eyes widen in a mixture of shock and pain, as Doc twists his ankle awkwardly. Ace looks around, then chooses the nearest rope and crawls toward it, managing to get a finger tip on the bottom rope. The referee tells Doc to release the hold, which he does instantly.
Eric Hardy: What a brilliant counter in that Doc Lock. Ace was caught completely off guard.
Kelly Knite: Yes, but The Ace knew exactly where he was in the ring, and was able to get to a rope very quickly.
Doc bends over and attempts to lift Ace up, but Ace gets hold of Doc's arm and drops to his back with an Arm Breaker. Both men are down now, with Doc holding his arm, and Ace holding his leg. The referee starts a ten count... 1... 2... 3... The Ace starts moving, as Doc stays down holding his arm... 4... 5... Ace is up to one knee, as Doc decides to begin standing to.... 6... 7... Ace is up, as Doc is to a knee now. Ace bounces off the ropes and goes for a Clothesline which takes Doc off his feet once again. Ace stalks Doc now, waiting for him to get up so he can end the match. Doc is up, and Ace boots him in the stomach. The Ace bounces off the ropes and goes for the Fameacer, but Doc backs up out of the way. The Ace lands on his butt hard, Doc backs up as Ace clumsily stands. Doc launches forward... GENICIDE KICK! Ace slumps to the floor, and Doc dives on top of him for the cover and the 1... 2... 3!! The crowd cheers as Doc stands up and the referee raises his hand in victory.
Eric Hardy: That was an excellent back and forth match. Well done Doc, for picking up a great win.
Kelly Knite: I thought The Ace had this one in the bag...
Eric Hardy: I guess when he cut his hair, he lost all his power with it.
