"You need people like me. You need people like me so you can point your f**kin' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." So... what that make you? Good? You're not good. You just know how to hide, how to lie. Me, I don't have that problem. Me, I always tell the truth. Even when I lie. So say good night to the bad guy! Come on. The last time you gonna see a bad guy like this again, let me tell you. Come on. Make way for the bad guy. There's a bad guy comin' through! Better get outta his way! "
The horns blare and the arena light flash red and blue, imitating a siren and police lights. "Hurt" by T.I hits and the crowd starts to feet the very aggressive beat, as Xavier emerges from the back hoodie over his head and bandanna around his mouth.
Amber Ashe: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, representing Social Enemies, from Atlanta Georgia, weighing 255 pounds...XAVIER WILLIAMS!
The crowd is now bouncing to the southern appeal of the song, as Xavier walks down ramp moving from side to side slapping hands with fans, he walks around the ringside area, as he looks up into the stands, he points to the fans in the upper deck, and they pop as he slides under the ropes and drops to a knee, his head bowed. He slams his fists into the mat as he stands tall, he removes the hoodie and bandanna as he hops to the second rope crossing his arms in an 'X' formation.
Hardy: And here comes a man who beat Doc last week, and this week takes on a former member of the Corporate Empire and a man who he now claims to respect...
Carter: It takes a lot to earn our respect...
Hardy: Are you saying you respect Ace too?
Carter: As much as any self respecting black man can respect a white man who does the right thing...
As the opening guitar plays, the titantron shows a small white circle with the 'Spade' symbol within it move across the screen, then as it disappears a larger gun barrel appears from the right and moves with a silhouette of The Ace in it into the centre, the silhouette faces the camera draws a gun and fires. The bullet heads towards the screen before shattering a Jack of Hearts. The Ace appears on stage with the four Aces in his right hand and the rest of the deck in his left hand, and he throws them into the air. Huge pyro explodes either side of the ramp as the lyrics to 'You Know My Name' by Chris Cornell begin. The titantron shows The Ace delivering Ace-Plants to Phillip Burns and Showtyme.
Amber Ashe: And his opponent, from Birmingham, England, weighing 246 pounds...THE ACE!
The Ace walks down the ramp through the shower of falling cards. The Ace confidently struts over to the steel steps, he climbs them and steps through the ropes. He walks over to the adjacent turnbuckle, climbing the second rope. He raises both arms in the air as when he first threw the deck. The Ace then climbs down and he walks to the middle of the ring as the song fades...
Hardy: And here's the man who screwed Steve Awesome out of the World Championship last night...
Carter: But he's not a referee here tonight, he's in active competition
Both men lock up in the centre of the ring as the bell sounds, Xavier uses his slight weight advantage to force The Ace back a few steps before irish whipping him into the corner. Xavier then runs at The Ace and buries a knee into The Ace's gut. The Ace slumps down in the corner. Xavier then pulls him up and delivers a right hand which The Ace answers with a stiff chop, another right hand from Williams met by another chop, surprising Xavier who starts to stumble back as The Ace fires up with the knife edge chops to the chest, gaining the advantage and forcing Xavier back to the centre of the ring with each blow as the crowd 'WOO!'
Hardy: My, would you look at those chops...
Carter: It stings just to watch...
Xavier finally manages to hit a right hand, but ducks under The Ace's in answer and instead hits him with a quick Double Arm DDT to buy himself some breathing space from the rapid exchange. The Ace rolls over onto his back and seems out of it, Xavier clutches his chest but runs over to the ropes, nailing The Ace with a perfect Slingshot Moonsault...Xavier hooks the leg...1...2...The Ace rolls a shoulder up...
Hardy: That was close right there...
Carter: Only during an election are old white guys easy to beat...
Xavier doesn't allow himself to get too frustrated and instead waits for The Ace to get back to his feet, before hooking him up for a suplex, Xavier hits one, but pops the hips to hit a second and then a third before tapping his chest and signalling that he was about to go up to the top rope where he pauses for a moment shouting 'Viva La Raza' and whipping the crowd into a frenzy of 'EDDIE' chants, but instead of attempting a Frog Splash, Xavier tries a 450 but just before it hits, The Ace rolls out the way...
Hardy: Xavier took a chance there but it did not pay off...
Carter: And now it seems The Ace has an advantage...
Seeing Xavier favour his right knee which he must have hurt on his way down, The Ace stomps Xavier's arm away from cradling it and instead grabs the leg, kicking the hamstring twice before attempting a Figure Four, Xavier smirks and catches The Ace in an inside cradle...1...2...The Ace manages to kick out...
Hardy: Xavier outsmarted The Ace there
Carter: Well almost...
The two men separate themselves from one another as The Ace nips up to his feet much to the crowd's delight, both men seem to respectfully nod at one another before Xavier whips The Ace across the ring, and on the rebound The Ace tries a superkick counter, but Xavier ducks and quickly maneuvers it into an electric chair drop position, Xavier staggers a little with The Ace on his shoulders towards the middle of the ring before dropping The Ace face first into the mat and rolling him over for the cover...1...2...The Ace bsrely manages to kick out... Xavier seems to get a little frustrated as he drags The Ace back to his feet and whips The Ace across the ring and on the return scoops and swings him around into a Georgia Scorcher...
Hardy: This could be it...
Carter: There's no way The Ace is going to get up from that...
But before Xavier can hit it, The Ace reverses it into a crucifix pin...1...2...3...Xavier looks stunned as he gets back to his feet and The Ace offers him a handshake out of respect...Xavier accepts...
Hardy: What rare sportsmanship...
Carter: Xavier was on top form, but in the end The Ace showed why he is still considered a top contender for the nCw World Heavyweight Championship....
